Monday, February 25 from midnight until 5 AM on Tuesday, February 26, Exit 8/I-95 northbound to Concord Pike southbound will be CLOSED for light pole installation.

Tuesday, February 26 from midnight until 5 AM on Wednesday, February 27, Exit 8B/I-95 southbound to Route 202/Concord Pike northbound will be CLOSED for the installation of a light pole.

Exit 8A CLOSED (until spring 2013) on I-95 southbound to US Route 202/Concord Pike/Wilmington southbound for the construction of a new ramp, which will open spring 2013. This closure will also provide the opportunity to reconstruct the existing ramp from US Route 202 southbound to I-95 southbound.

Primary Detour: Take Exit 8B SB I-95 to US Rt. 202 NB, make a right at Weldin Road, make a right at Foulk Road to US Rt. 202 SB to Wilmington.

Secondary Detour: Stay of I-95 SB to Exit A-B Delaware Avenue, go south on North Jackson St., make a left on 9th St., make a left at North Adams St., take the on ramp to I-95 NB, take Exit 8 Concord Pike Wilmington.		 View Map

09/15/2013		 Restriction Route 1/I-95 Interchange Project (T200809003-North I) Wednesday, February 20 from 7 PM until 5 AM, the right lane along I-95 northbound will be closed for the construction of a sign foundation.

Wednesday, February 20 from 10 PM until 5 AM, Route 1 northbound will be closed immediately after the Exit Ramp to I-95 northbound for the installation of a pier cap from. Traffic intending to use Route 1 northbound that night will be detoured to I-95 northbound to Route 141 westbound and return to I-95 southbound. From I-95 southbound traffic can use the exit to Route 1 northbound.

DUE TO THE UPCOMING ANTICIPATED WEATHER FOR THIS WEEKEND, THE CLOSURE OF I-95 BEGINNING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22 AND SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23 HAS BEEN CANCELED.

HERE ARE THE NEW DATES. MONDAY, FEB. 25, TUESDAY, FEB. 26, AND WEDNESDAY. FEB. 27 FROM 11 PM UNTIL 5 AM EACH NIGHT, I-95 Northbound will be CLOSED just north of Exit 4A (to Route 1 south). I-95 Southbound will have two lanes closed starting at 9 PM until 5 AM.

In order to mitigate anticipated backups on I-95 northbound at Exit 4A, traffic is encouraged to exit I-95 at the Route 273 interchange and head eastbound to Route 1 northbound and back to I-95 northbound. The I-95 ramp to Route 1 southbound will remain open during the closure of I-95 northbound.

Exit Ramp for I-95 northbound traffic to Route 7 northbound is CLOSED until spring 2013. A detour is in place diverting traffic to Route 273 westbound to Route 4 northbound and return back to Route 7.		 View Map
